What We Do

The work that WellChild do is so wide-ranging that it's impossible to sum up in a single sentence.

How do we help sick children? 

WellChild fund a team of extremely committed WellChild Nurses. They help our children in so many ways and have had enormous success in enabling those with complex care needs to return from hospital back to where they belong – at home.  The research projects we fund have made significant advances in areas such as liver and kidney disease, cystic fibrosis and heart conditions in children.  We also support families through the dedicated WellChild Helpline and our Helping Hands projects.

How do we do it? 

With the help of countless people who care as deeply about children’s health as we do. Our work relies entirely on the generosity of public donations, and on the life-affirming selflessness and energy of the many who contribute so much time and effort to help us.
